Meeting room on Amager in Copenhagen
We are a party hall, not a conference centre, and that is worth knowing before you read on. There is one large room at Højdevej 59 in Copenhagen S. There are no breakout rooms, no whiteboards and no video conferencing equipment. What there is: space for up to 120 people in a single room, a projector, a professional sound system, flexible seating layouts, food from our own kitchen and free parking outside the door.

Why Maiya
One large room for the whole group
The hall takes up to 120 people at a time and everyone sits in the same space. That fits general meetings, member meetings and all-hands briefings, where the point is precisely that nobody is split up. If your programme needs parallel tracks in separate rooms, we are not the right choice.
The projector and sound system are included
A projector and a professional sound system come with the hall, so slides can be shown and a speaker can be heard from the back row without hiring anything in. Between them they cover what most meetings actually need.
Tables laid out the way you want them
The seating is flexible, so we set the room up around the shape of the meeting: rows facing the screen for a presentation, tables in a horseshoe for a board, or round tables for group work. Tell us the layout when you book and it will be ready before you arrive.
Catering from our own kitchen
Maiya Nepali Kitchen cooks in the building, with set menus in Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Any menu can be made fully vegetarian, and allergies are accommodated when you let us know. It means lunch is not one more supplier to coordinate.
Free parking on site
Parking at Højdevej 59 is free, which is rarely the case for meeting rooms closer to the city centre. For attendees driving in from elsewhere in the capital region or from the airport side of Amager, that is a genuine difference.
Please note the 30-person minimum
The hall is hired from 30 people upwards. Below that we cannot offer the room, though we can host you in the Maiya Nepali Kitchen restaurant instead. Send us your numbers and the shape of the day through the contact page and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.

Do you have breakout rooms for workshops?
No. There is one large room and no breakout rooms. If the day has to split into parallel tracks in separate spaces, we are not the right venue.

Catering by Maiya Nepali Kitchen
Every event is catered in-house by Maiya Nepali Kitchen. Choose a set menu from Silver to Diamond, or ask us to build a custom menu around your guests. Any menu can be made fully vegetarian, and we plan around allergies and other dietary needs when you tell us early. Children aged 5 to 12 pay half the menu price.
All prices are per person and include VAT. Your total is the hall fee plus your menu, plus a drinks option if you want one.
