Guests from Islands Brygge, Ørestad, Tårnby and Kastrup stay on the same side of the harbour the whole way, and Copenhagen Airport is on Amager too, when part of the family flies in for the party.

Why Maiya
On Amager, not merely near it
Højdevej 59 sits in Sundby, a few streets off Amagerbrogade. Amagerbro and Lergravsparken are the closest metro stations. For anyone already living on the island, we are a shorter trip than a hall on the other side of the harbour, with no bridge and no city centre traffic on the way.
Free parking at the door
Parking on site is free. Very few venues in central Copenhagen can say that, and it is exactly the detail guests notice when it is missing. Older relatives, families arriving with a pushchair, and everyone turning up with gifts, cake tins and a full boot get real value out of stopping right outside.
An easy trip from the rest of the island
Guests coming from Islands Brygge, Ørestad, Christianshavn, Tårnby and Kastrup stay on the same side of the harbour the whole way. Copenhagen Airport is also on Amager, which helps when part of the family is flying in for a wedding or a confirmation and going straight from the terminal to the celebration.

Maiya Nepali Kitchen cooks your event at this address. There is no caterer to source, no delivery slot to agree, and no hoping the food is still hot when it arrives. Set menus run Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond and any menu can be made fully vegetarian.

Standard decoration, a professional sound system, a projector, staff, cleaning and flexible seating layouts are all part of the hall fee. Round tables, long tables or floor left clear for dancing: you choose the layout and we set it up that way.

The hall is booked from 30 guests upwards. For smaller groups we host you in the restaurant in the same building, so you still get the food from our own kitchen.

We cater. Maiya Nepali Kitchen cooks everything for your event, with set menus, custom menus and a fully vegetarian option. Children aged 5 to 12 pay half the menu price.

Catering by Maiya Nepali Kitchen
Every event is catered in-house by Maiya Nepali Kitchen. Choose a set menu from Silver to Diamond, or ask us to build a custom menu around your guests. Any menu can be made fully vegetarian, and we plan around allergies and other dietary needs when you tell us early. Children aged 5 to 12 pay half the menu price.
All prices are per person and include VAT. Your total is the hall fee plus your menu, plus a drinks option if you want one.
