Most party venues in Copenhagen are empty rooms. You rent four walls, then find a caterer, agree a delivery window, hire crockery and afterwards add up invoices from three different suppliers. Here the kitchen is in the building, and the food belongs to the booking.
Maiya Nepali Kitchen cooks every single event at Højdevej 59 in 2300 Copenhagen S. The hall seats 30 to 120 guests, and decoration, sound, staff and cleaning come with it. Look through the menus and what they include, or book a visit and talk the menu through with us in person.

Why Maiya
Kitchen and hall under one roof
The food is cooked in the building and carried into the hall, not driven across town in insulated boxes. That means hot food when it is served, no delivery slot to plan the evening around, and no argument about whose responsibility it is if something needs adjusting on the night.
One agreement instead of three
Hall, food, staff and clearing up sit on the same agreement. There is no coordinating between a room hire company, a caterer and a cleaning firm, and no evening spent adding three quotes together to work out what the party actually costs.
Set menus, or a menu built for your party
Set menus run Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, and there is a Vegetable menu alongside them. If none of them quite fits your guests, we put a custom menu together instead. The food is Nepali, served as a buffet and served by our own staff.
Fully vegetarian all the way through, if you want it
The Vegetable menu is on the list, but it does not stop there: any of our menus can be made fully vegetarian. That is a real option for a party where a large share of the room does not eat meat, rather than the usual two vegetarian plates left in a corner.
Dietary needs agreed in advance
Tell us about allergies and other requirements when you book and the kitchen works around them. Because it is our own kitchen, we can answer questions about what is in a dish without first having to ring a subcontractor.
Drinks are your choice
There are three routes. Hold the party with no drinks package at all, take a soft drinks package for your guests, or bring your own drinks for a small charge per guest. Food is the one thing you never bring: that part is ours. Whether it is a company party or a wedding, the model is the same.
Frequently asked questions
Is the food included when we book the hall?
The food is booked together with the hall. The price is a hall fee per guest plus a menu per guest, so you never end up with an empty room and a catering problem.
Can we bring our own food?
No. We cook every event in our own kitchen and no outside food is brought into the building. You may bring your own drinks for a small charge per guest.
Which menus can we choose from?
Set menus run Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, there is a Vegetable menu, and we can build a custom menu if none of them fits your party.
Can we have a fully vegetarian menu?
Yes. Besides the Vegetable menu, any of our menus can be made fully vegetarian for the whole party.
What about guests with allergies?
Tell us when you book and the kitchen accounts for it. We need notice in good time rather than on the day.
Do children pay the full menu price?
No. Children aged 5 to 12 pay half the menu price.
What kind of food is it?
It is Nepali food from Maiya Nepali Kitchen, served as a buffet. The menus cover both meat and vegetarian dishes, and the whole menu can be made vegetarian.
Do you deliver catering to other locations?
The catering belongs to events in our own hall at Højdevej 59. We cook where the party is held.

Catering by Maiya Nepali Kitchen
Every event is catered in-house by Maiya Nepali Kitchen. Choose a set menu from Silver to Diamond, or ask us to build a custom menu around your guests. Any menu can be made fully vegetarian, and we plan around allergies and other dietary needs when you tell us early. Children aged 5 to 12 pay half the menu price.
All prices are per person and include VAT. Your total is the hall fee plus your menu, plus a drinks option if you want one.
