Maiya Party Hall
How it works

Book Maiya Party Hall

Booking a hall should not feel like negotiating a contract. At Maiya Party Hall it is five steps: see your price, tell us your date, come and look at the room, accept a written offer and pay the deposit that holds the date.

Every step before the deposit is free and commits you to nothing, and we answer within 24 hours, Monday to Sunday. Here is exactly how it goes.

The five steps

1. See your price first

Start with the price calculator. Put in your guest numbers, choose a menu and decide whether you want drinks, and it gives you a real per-person figure and a total. All the underlying rates are published on the prices page, so there is nothing to prise out of us first.

2. Send an enquiry, or book a viewing

When the number looks workable, send us the enquiry straight from the calculator, or ask for a viewing if you would rather see the room before you talk about money. Plenty of people do both, in either order. Tell us the date, the occasion and roughly how many guests you expect.

3. We reply within 24 hours

We confirm whether your date is free, flag anything we need to know and answer whatever you asked. That happens within 24 hours, Monday to Sunday. If your date is close or you are deciding between venues this week, say so and we will move faster.

4. You receive a written offer

The offer sets out your date and times, the number of guests, the menu, the drinks option, the total price, and the deposit and cancellation terms. It is in writing so you can read it properly, share it with whoever you are planning with, and come back with questions before you commit to anything.

5. The deposit confirms the date

Nothing is held until the deposit is paid. Once it is, the date is yours in the calendar and we start planning the detail with you: the seating layout, the schedule for the event, final guest numbers and the allergy list.

Have this ready before you enquire

What we confirm in writing

We put the whole booking in writing rather than leaving it in a chain of messages, because a party planned six months out involves too many details to hold in anyone's head. Your offer covers the date and the agreed times, the guest count the price is based on, the menu including any vegetarian or custom arrangement, the drinks option, the full price per person and in total, and the deposit and cancellation terms.

If your numbers change afterwards, and they usually do, tell us and we will send an updated offer. Guest lists move, and a booking that cannot absorb that is not much use to anyone. What we will not do is change the price without telling you first.

Book as early as you can for a wedding or a Saturday in the busy season, because those dates go first. That said, it is always worth asking about short notice. Gaps appear, and we will tell you within 24 hours whether we can take it rather than leaving you waiting.

Booking questions

Do I have to visit before I book?

No, but we recommend it. A viewing is free, takes about twenty minutes and answers questions that no photograph can. If you are booking from abroad or cannot get here, we will do as much as we can by phone and email instead.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit amount is set out in the written offer we send you, alongside the cancellation terms, so you can read both before committing. Ask us and we will explain them in plain language beforehand.

When do I need to give final guest numbers?

We agree a deadline with you as part of the booking, so the kitchen has time to plan and order. Small changes after that are usually manageable, but tell us as soon as you know.

Can I change my menu after booking?

Yes, up to the point where the kitchen has to start ordering. Tell us what you want to change and we will send an updated offer with the new price rather than adjusting it quietly.

What if my date is already taken?

We will tell you straight away and offer you the nearest alternatives we have. If the date is not movable, we would rather say so quickly than keep you waiting on a maybe.

Ready when you are

Start with your price, or if you would rather see the room first, book a viewing and we will confirm a time within 24 hours. Either way, get in touch with anything you want to ask before you commit.

If you are still comparing venues, the prices page lists every rate in the open, the gallery shows the hall set up for different occasions and the FAQ covers the practical details people usually ask about last, such as drinks, decoration, access and finish times.
