Prices and what is included
Most venues make you send an enquiry before they will tell you anything about money. We would rather do it the other way round, so every rate we charge is published on this page and the price calculator will turn them into a real total for your guest list in about a minute.
The model is deliberately simple. You pay a hall fee per person, a menu price per person and, if you want them, drinks per person. There is no separate hire fee for the room, no charge for the sound system and no cleaning bill at the end.
How the price is built
1. The hall, per person
The hall fee covers the room itself and everything that makes it usable: standard decoration, a professional sound system, a projector, professional staff on the day, cleaning afterwards and a seating layout arranged to suit your event. It is 70 DKK per person.
2. The menu, per person
All food is cooked by Maiya Nepali Kitchen, our own kitchen in the same building. Choose one of the set menus, or ask us to build something to your own brief. Any menu can be made fully vegetarian. Menus are priced per person and the current rates are in the table below.
3. Drinks, per person, optional
You can either take our soft drinks package or bring your own soft drinks and alcohol, which is charged as a small per-person fee instead of per bottle. Both options are per person, and you can also skip drinks entirely.
Add the three together, multiply by your guest count and that is your price. Children aged 5 to 12 pay half the menu price, with the hall fee and any drinks option still applying per child.

All prices are per person and include VAT. Your total is the hall fee plus your menu, plus a drinks option if you want one.

Your menu options
Set menus
Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond are our four set menus, each a complete spread from our own Nepali kitchen. They differ in how many courses come out and what goes on the table, and every one of them is priced per person in the table above.
Any menu, fully vegetarian
All four set menus can be made fully vegetarian, as a complete spread in its own right rather than a side option added to something else. It costs the same as the menu itself. If your party is mixed, tell us how many guests need what and the kitchen will plan the buffet so nobody is left choosing between two dishes.
A menu of your own
The set menus are a starting point. If you want dishes swapped, courses added or a spread built around a particular family tradition, describe what you have in mind and we will put a price on it. Custom menus are priced per person like the rest.
Children, allergies and special requests
Children aged 5 to 12 pay half the menu price. The hall fee and any drinks option still apply per child, so when you send your numbers, count adults and children separately. It makes a real difference to the total on a family occasion such as a confirmation or a christening.
Allergies and dietary requirements are accommodated when we know in advance. Send the list along with your final guest numbers and the kitchen will plan the buffet around it. Late notice on the day is much harder to work with, so tell us as early as you can.
Special requests are worth asking about. Custom decoration, a particular drink, a specific dish or an unusual schedule may carry an extra cost, but we will tell you what it is before you commit to it, in writing, rather than adding it to an invoice afterwards.
What happens after you have a price
The calculator gives you a figure to work with, not a booking. When you are ready, send the enquiry and we will confirm within 24 hours whether your date is free and what we would need from you. You then receive a written offer setting out the price, what is included and the deposit and cancellation terms, and the deposit is what actually holds the date.

Pricing questions
Is the hall fee charged per person or as a flat rate?
Per person, like everything else. That means a smaller party is not paying for an empty room, and you can see exactly how the total moves when your guest list changes.
Is there a minimum spend?
There is no separate minimum spend, but the hall has a minimum of 30 guests. Since everything is charged per person, the guest minimum effectively sets the smallest booking we can take.
Do I have to take a menu, or can I hire the hall on its own?
No. All the food comes from our own kitchen, Maiya Nepali Kitchen, in this building, and a menu is part of every booking. In return the menu is built around your guests rather than ordered from a list, any menu can be made fully vegetarian, and there is no caterer to coordinate separately on the day.
Are drinks compulsory?
No. You can take the soft drinks package, bring your own soft drinks and alcohol for a small per-person fee, or skip drinks entirely. Choose whichever suits the occasion.
Can prices change after I get an offer?
The price in your written offer is the price we work to. If you change your guest numbers, your menu or your drinks option afterwards, the total changes accordingly, and we will send you an updated offer rather than surprise you later.
