Venue for 100 Guests in Copenhagen
The awkward thing about 100 guests is that most rooms are either too small or far too big. A hall built for 200 makes a party of 100 look half empty, and a room for 60 forces you to cut the guest list until somebody is offended.
Our hall at Højdevej 59 in 2300 Copenhagen S is built for exactly that range: 30 to 120 guests in one room, with the food coming from our own kitchen in the building. See what the hall booking includes, or book a visit and judge for yourself how 100 people sit in the space.

Why Maiya
Where can you hire a venue for 100 guests in Copenhagen?
Here, 100 guests sit in a single room, not split across two floors or a hall plus an overflow space next door. That sounds like a detail until the speeches start, and it decides whether the evening feels like one party or two. The ceiling is 120, so there is still slack when the last ten reply.
What if only 50 people come?
Then the tables move closer together and the rest of the floor becomes bar, buffet or dance space. Because the hall fee is charged per guest, you do not pay for empty floor when the party is half the maximum. Fifty is an entirely ordinary size here for birthdays and smaller weddings.
Where can you hire a room for 80 guests?
Eighty is the size at which many hosts choose round tables, because the party is now large enough that not everyone knows each other, and a round table gets eight people talking instead of four. Seating layouts are flexible, so we set the room up around how you want your guests to sit.
Is 30 guests enough to book the hall?
Thirty is our minimum and the hall is not let below it. If you are under 30, we lay tables for you in the Maiya Nepali Kitchen restaurant in the same building instead, so you still get the same food from the same kitchen.
The layout decides how 100 guests actually sit
Long tables give the strongest sense of one shared table and fit the most covers. Round tables give better conversation and more room to move between them. If you want a dance floor, it comes out of the seating, so it is worth agreeing beforehand. We set up to your plan and talk it through before you write the seating chart.
The kitchen keeps up with 100 covers
Maiya Nepali Kitchen cooks at this address and serves as a buffet, which is the format that works best at this size, because 100 guests should not be waiting on plated service in three waves. Set menus run Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, with a Vegetable menu and the option to make any menu fully vegetarian.
Frequently asked questions
How many people does the hall hold?
The hall holds 30 to 120 guests in one room.
Can you seat 100 guests?
Yes. One hundred seated guests sits inside the hall's capacity of 120, so there is still room if a few more join.
Can we book the hall for 50 people?
Yes. Fifty sits comfortably in the range, and because the hall fee is per guest, you do not pay for space you are not using.
What is the minimum number of guests?
The minimum is 30 guests. For smaller groups we offer space in the Maiya Nepali Kitchen restaurant instead.
What happens if our guest count changes?
Tell us as soon as you know. Both the hall fee and the menu are per guest, so the price follows the final number we confirm with you.
Can you make room for a dance floor with 100 guests?
Yes, but it comes out of the seating. Let us know in advance that you want a dance floor and we allow for it in the layout.
Can you cater 100 guests from your own kitchen?
Yes. Every event is cooked in our own kitchen in the building and served as a buffet by our staff.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is free on-site parking at Højdevej 59, 2300 Copenhagen S.
